Outline (in English)

[Outline]
We will understand the three major elements of object-oriented programming: inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism, and learn techniques for programming them.
[Goal]
To master the three major elements of object-oriented programming: inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism. Understand how to construct object-oriented programs using the Java language.
[Work to be done outside of class]
No programming knowledge or experience is required.
However, familiarity with computers, especially keyboard typing, is required. It is recommended that students who are not familiar with keyboarding practice typing with typing software in advance.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is two hours each.
If you were not able to complete the exercises during the class, please review the materials distributed to you after the class.
[Grading criteria]
The evaluation will be based on the submission of examples, and reports (60%), as well as on the student's attitude toward the class (40%).
