授業の概要と目的(何を学ぶか)Outline and objectives
[Challenges of Global Enterprises]
当授業では、いくつかの世界的企業を取り上げ、海外メディアの記事を通してビジネスへの取り組み方や動向を学習する。授業中の言語は、和訳を行う時間帯を除き、できうる限り英語としたい。In this class, we will cover some global companies and learn about business approaches and trends through articles in overseas media. Let us try to communicate in English during class.

授業時間外の学習(準備学習・復習・宿題等)Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
The first class will be "online." Most other classes will be held in the classroom in Ichigaya campus. If it is necessary, some classes will be held by Zoom or on-demand lectures. It is important that you are well prepared for each class and meet on time. If you are absent, you must complete all missed assignments, inform me in person or by email, and be ready for the next class.
University guidelines suggests preparation and review for a one-credit course to be around an hour a week.

A textbook is assigned in the first class for this course.
Handouts and reading materials will be provided by the instructor.
参考書References
Students are required to refer to various sources when researching for writing and presentation assignments. Most research will be done on the internet and in the library.
成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
Final evaluation will be based on:
Participation and regular attendance 30%
Homework and written assignments 30%
Mid-term presentation 20%
Final paper 20%
More than three absences will seriously affect your final grade.
