Outline (in English)
（Course outline）
The aim of this course is to help students acuire basic knowledge of business administration,especially start Up and business development, and marketing theory using English teaching materials.
（Learning Objectives）
By the end of this course, students should be able to do the followings:
・Acquire the ability to express own opinion to others by reading English books on business management.
・Acquire the basic knowledge about business management theory and understand tools for business analysis
・Arouse students' awareness and interest in business management theory and business topics.
(Learning activities outside of classroom）
Students will be expected to have read and completed the required assigned part of the text and prepare the slides for it. (Presentation slides would be prepared by each group.)
Your study time will be more than two hours for a class
（Grading Criteria/Policy）
Grading will be decidedbased upon based on "Group work/presentation and in-class contribution"(50%), "final report and other home work "(50%).
Students who are absent more than 3 times will be fail after checking attendance every time.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業では英語教材を用いて経営学の基本トピック、とりわけ起業とビジネス育成、マーケティング理論について学びます。毎回の授業では、テキストのなかの担当トピックの内容について学生が発表し、全体討議、総括を行って、経営学の専門用語を学び、経営学の理解を深めます。授業では、適宜、参考文献、記事等を取り上げ、ビジネスの最新トピックスへの関心と理解を深めます。
到達目標Goal
本授業は、経営学における著名なテキストを用いて英語文献を読む語学力を身につけ、英語文献から得た経営学の知識を応用する力をつけることを目標とします。具体的には、経営学領域を網羅したテキストである"The Business Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained"を用いて、基礎知識をつけ、専門書を読解する力、英語で専門講義を受けるための基礎力を養います。
この授業を履修することで学部等のディプロマポリシーに示されたどの能力を習得することができるか（該当授業科目と学位授与方針に明示された学習成果との関連）Which item of the diploma policy will be obtained by taking this class?

受講者には（何組かのグループを設定し）、担当部分の発表をしてもらいます。毎回の授業の流れは、担当グループが発表、各グループによる質問、報告に対する教員からのコメントおよび解説、ディスカッション、総括の順番で進めます。授業の後半ではビジネスに関わる原書や記事を読んで発表と議論を行います。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
・平常点（グループワーク・発表を含む）60点
・期末レポート 40点
成績評価は、授業での発表および参加、ならびにレポート（宿題）の成績によって総合的に評価します。毎回出欠を確認し、5回以上欠席した学生は単位を認められません。

・毎回の講義にテキストと辞書、PCを必ず持参してください。
英語の文献を読むのは大変ですので、毎回講義に出席し、2時間程度の予復習を欠かさずに行うようにしてください。

・ある程度の速度が確保されたネット環境（オンラインの場合）
