Outline (in English)

This course will focus on the history of the European Integration after the end of the Cold War to understand the contemporary Europe. Why was the European Union (EU) established in 1993 and how is it working? It is very important to examine the EU from a historical point of view, because Europe has confronted serious problems since the end of the Cold War, for example the financial crisis and the refugee crisis. This course will give you a different perspective on Europe and International Politics.
Keywords: European Integration, Cold War, EU, Deepening and Enlargement, referendums
