Outline (in English)

This course will focus on the history of the European Integration before the end of the Cold War to understand the contemporary Europe. Why and how did the European Integration start and develop from a small community into the European Union (EU) ? It is very important to examine the EU from a historical point of view, because Europe has adapted itself to a challenging situation in the world since the end of the Second World War. The EU is a unique example of the regional cooperation. This course will give you a different perspective on Europe and International Politics.
