Outline (in English)

1. Course Outline

The objective of this Seminar is to discuss on issues of Social Law and Social Policy .


2. Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A. You will be able to collect materials and analyze problems for group work.
・ Understand the significance and characteristics of laws in each field.
-B. In group work, you can express your opinion and reflect it in the results.
-C. Acquire applied knowledge about social law and related social policies.
-D. Understand the contents of the theme report accurately.
-E. The content of the theme report can be presented appropriately and concisely.


3. Learning Activities Outside of Classroom

Lecture/Exercise(four-credits)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend five hours to understand the course content.


4.Grading Criteria /Policies

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
-a. Collecting materials for group work and theme reports, problem analysis and problem grasping can be carried out without major problems: 60%
-b. In the group work theme report, You can express your opinion and reflect it in the results such as resumes, PowerPoint materials, or setting the theme of the discussion you want: 20%
-c. Through learning about a to b above, we have acquired applied knowledge on social law and social policy: 10%
-d. You can give an appropriate and concise presentation on a to c above: 10%
