Outline (in English)

The purpose of this course is to deepen students' understanding of the history of geography, while keeping in mind the framework of contemporary geography. Through the reading of academic journals, students will learn about various geographical thoughts as they move vertically and horizontally between different ages and regions. The course aims to enable students to consider the theories and findings accumulated so far in the history of geography in relation to their own interests.
