Outline (in English)

In this lecture, students will gain an understanding of the different weathering processes,their mechanisms and their relationship to landform changes. Students can explain the involvement of weathering processes in the mechanisms of landform change and the abundance of familiar examples. Students can explain the link between the formation and change of landforms and the weathering process of rocks, based on some examples.
Students are also able to apply their own sense of ethics to ethical issues, based on the wealth of knowledge and education they have gained from their experience and studies through this lecture. They are able to think logically and critically on the basis of objective information obtained.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report (40%), term-end examination (50%), and in-class contribution(10%).
