Outline (in English)

Regional geography is Regional geography is a holistic field of geography that aims to capture and depict the characteristics of a region. This course deals with the regional geography of Japan and considers how the characteristics of the region known as Japan can be captured from a variety of approaches to regional geography. At the end of the course, Students are expected to create their own regional geography of the familiar region or place in Japan. Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting, which will need more than 2 hours. Final grade will be decided based on the short reports.
