Outline (in English)

Course outline: In the class, (1) as a receiver of data, students will learn how to read various types of graphs and what to pay attention to when reading them. (2) As a analyzer of data, students will learn what methods of visualizations are appropriate for different types of data.

Learning Objectives: At the end of the course, students are expected to do the followings:
(1) Reading various types of graphs.
(2) Making graph data according to specific cases.
(3) Reporting data objectively in writing.
(4) Summarizing some data in a poster

Learning activities outside of classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.

Grading Criteria /Policy: Final report (poster) 40%, Class Assignment 60%
