Outline and objectives
Familiarizing yourself with English essay structure and mechanics and putting language knowledge and writing experience to work more effectively.
Goal
Through understanding each model essay, you will
・be able to recognize and identify key structures
・learn how to gather ideas and organize them into groups (=outlining)
・get used to editing and improving your writing
・apply the structures to your own essay writing and produce formal/academic writing

Grading criteria
➀70% by Assessed Work submitted at the end of each unit
②30% by active participation in each class
Changes following student comments
Equipment student needs to prepare
