Outline (in English)

Course Outline: We will study how to analyze language grammatically.
Learning Objectives: The objectives of this course are (1) to learn basic linguistic terms, (2) to learn how to analyze language logically and linguistically, and (3) to experience collaborative research with other students.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 2 hours to understand the course content.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: presentations (30%); discussions (30%); and assignments (40%).
