Outline (in English)

（Course outline）
This course will focus on learning Korean characters and pronunciation. It also enhances the development of students’ skills in Korean basic grammar.

（Learning Objectives）
The specific goals of this course are to acquire basic composition, listening, and reading skills until the end of the course.

（Learning activities outside of classroom）
It is recommended strongly to study more than two hours per a week for a class.

（Grading Criteria/Policy）
Completing all required components of the course is necessary to pass the course. Final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Mid-term examination (40%), term-end examination (40%), and Usual performance score (20%).
