Outline (in English)

Computer-based Information Technology (IT) has become ubiquitous in our daily lives. Since AI helps natural language interaction, we are now in an age where we can enjoy many services. We will take up the latest businesses and services that utilize IT, such as GAFA, as examples and provide a comprehensive explanation of cutting-edge IT. From the viewpoint of the creation process of manufacturing and system, practical system development projects will work using the latest cloud services in parallel. Furthermore, through discussions on social issues surrounding IT, students will cultivate a way of thinking about IT that is not biased toward technology.
Through these activities, the objective is to deepen a comprehensive understanding of the latest IT-based systems and services and to acquire practical knowledge and skills for using IT in design.
Learning activities outside of class include system development through group work, posting comments on the instructor's questionnaire on the LMS, e-Learning on AI, and posting an e-portfolio as a reflection.
As a result of last year, grades will consist of online discussions (24%), reports (50%), e-Learning on AI (10%), presentations (6%), and learning portfolios (10%).
