Outline (in English)

Course outline: The objective of this course is to cultivate the ability to observe, survey, analyze and evaluate the building and urban environments surrounding us from a deep perspective. Students will gain a broader perspective by learning about the 17 goals and 169 targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The final goal of this course to learn methods that can contribute to the sustainable prosperity of the earth and mankind.

Learning Objectives: The goal of the course is to learn a wide range of knowledge in architectural and urban environmental engineering and to acquire the ability to apply this knowledge.

Learning activities outside of classroom: The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. In particular, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding before the next class if they do not have a sufficient understanding of the subject matter at the end of the class.

Grading Criteria /Policy: A comprehensive evaluation of the research and research reports (100%) will be performed.
