Outline (in English)

Outline:
In this course students will learn various concepts concerning architecture for infrastructure and environment, and learn the outline and concept of several actual projects. After reviewing basic concepts, group discussions on several themes will be held. Through the course students should acquire the concept of landscape design in urban, architecture and environment fields.
Objectives:
1) To acquire the basics of landscape design and analysis
2)To understand the reasons why good landscapes are valued by learning about examples of good landscapes in the fields of urban environmental design and social infrastructure.
3)To understand the reasons and values of landscape design in urban environmental design and social infrastructure
Learning activities outside of classroom:
To review the concepts and terminology mentioned in each session.
Students are expected to review the materials distributed in advance before the group discussion, and to be ready for the discussion immediately on the day of the class. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Criteria /Policy:
Evaluation will be based on submissions in class (40%) and reports (60%), with a total score of 60% or higher being considered passing.
