Outline (in English)

Course outline: Students will learn methodologies on how to design sustainable buildings in a practical format, while assuming that they already have a basic knowledge of architectural environmental engineering.

Learning Objectives: Students will acquire the applied skills to perform indoor environmental simulations, outdoor environmental simulations, energy simulations, and life cycle assessments. Finally, the students will acquire the skills to propose a more sustainable building while improving the initial design proposal based on the simulation results.

Learning activities outside of classroom: The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. If the simulation cannot be completed during the lecture, the analysis should be conducted outside of class time to make it in time for the final presentation.

Grading Criteria /Policy: The evaluation will be based on the report (100%). No grade will be given to students who have not submitted their assignments.
