Outline (in English)

Course outline: In this course students will understand the background behind Japan and Asia's modern cities and architecture. In addition, in regards to the sparse design history of modern architecture, examples such as Disneyland will be examined. Topics will be assigned according to each of these areas.
Learning Objectives: The goals of this course are to learn the posture that is going to watch a city and the essence of the building.
Learning activities outside of classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course contents.
Grading Criteria /Policy: Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following, to be passed in the above 60 points of examinations to describe in the term end.
