Outline (in English)

[Outline]
The course will be offered until the 2019 academic year under the old curriculum and will not be offered from the 2020 academic year under the new curriculum. However, the first half of the Urban Architectural History Studio class will be used as a replacement course for students who have taken the course in previous years.
Students will learn about the origins of architecture and cities through history. Students will learn how to decipher architecture and cities by viewing architecture as a component of cities through the works of cities, architecture, and architects in Tokyo, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Scandinavia, India, Sri Lanka, Bali, Mexico, Brazil, and other countries.

[Learning Objectives]
It is important to actively engage in discussions and presentations and to communicate well with members of the group. In addition, the achievement goal is to be able to accurately express what you have researched. The goal is also to make a wide range of discoveries about specific towns and architecture through observation and establishment.
