Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
Construction management is a generic term for actions (within four major missions) such as process control, safety management, quality control and cost management. The ideas of "construction management" will be explained while touching on materials, structure, etc, in line with various constructions types, along with trends which must be known to all those in the construction industry, regardless of future career position.
An overview will be given of how the workers in construction management (mainly field supervisors) are positioned in building production, what their roles are, and see the process of "making things" through collaboration.
The goal is to gain the knowledge to support Class 1 architect exams.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】

① To understand the four major duties of implementation management and to have an overview of the PDCA cycle in management.
② Be able to know the construction flow and acquire construction management knowledge with materials and structural knowledge necessary for the management of various construction works.
