Outline (in English)
[Course outline]
Architectural planning is a normative theory of architectural design, which is based on various decision-making principles such as human dimensions, motion characteristics, perception, psychology, cultural context, communication, work efficiency, and social systems.
This course is intended for beginning architectural designers to understand the relationship between architectural space and its decision-making principles using familiar examples, and to learn the basics of applying decision-making principles appropriately in architectural design.
[Learning Objectives]
To understand the intention of the space from design examples and to acquire the skills to envision the activities that will take place in the space.
To understand the principles and rationale that define architectural space.
To acquire the basis for applying the principles of decision making appropriately in architectural design.
To acquire the viewpoint to think about the connection between society and culture and architectural design through the derivation of design rationale.

In order to deepen your understanding of the keywords and building examples introduced in class, it is necessary to organize and grasp your knowledge by doing your own research after class.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
建築計画学とは建築設計おいて規範となる理論であり，人体寸法，動作特性，知覚，心理，文化的文脈，コミュニケーション，作業効率，社会制度など様々な決定根拠がその背景にある．
本講は建築設計初学者を対象とし、身近な事例を手がかりに建築空間とその決定原理の関係を理解するとともに、建築設計において適切に決定原理を適用するための基礎を学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
・設計事例からその空間の意図を読み取るとともに、そこで行われる活動を想定する技術を身につける。
・建築空間を規定する原理や根拠を理解する。
・建築設計において適切に決定原理を適用するための基礎を身につける。
・設計根拠の導出を通して社会・文化と建築設計を接続して思考する視点を身につける。

授業で紹介したキーワードおよび建物事例についての理解を深めるために、授業後に各自で調べ、知識を整理・把握することが必要である。
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。

オンライン形式のため、PCの使用は必須である。
資料配布はpdfで行うが、一部資料はプリントアウトが必要である。
講義内の演習で色鉛筆（１２色程度）と細ペン（0.3〜0.5mm）を使用するので準備すること。
その他の重要事項Others
・DS3に関連した項目を取り扱うため、DS3と併せて履修することが望ましい。
・提出物に学籍番号・名前をきちんと記載すること。記載がない場合、評価不能（未提出扱い）となるので注意すること。
・IAEにレポート等を提出する際に、アップロード先（提出フォルダ）を間違える学生が散見されるので十分に注意すること。
