Therefore, students will practice basic mathematics from differential and integral calculus to ordinary differential equations sufficiently to acquire the foundation for future study of mathematics in engineering.

【Learning Objectives】
Through repeated solving of exercises, students will gain a thorough understanding and knowledge of the solution methods. Students will also understand the validity and necessity of mathematics for problem solving by studying example problems in engineering.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Exercises will be distributed in each lecture. Students are expected to work on the exercises by referring to reference books.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
