Outline (in English)

 In geography, understanding the basics of "geography" which is as important as systematic geography, and in particular learning the concrete topography of Asia as the target area of the world topography and wide-area topography, various regional characteristics and its topography Learn how to write. First, we will understand Asia in the world, and then we will give an overview of the individual regions of Asia.
 Understand the nature of Asia, which is geographically closest to Japan, and the lives of the people who live there. On the premise of understanding the "natural history" that focuses on the characteristics of various natural environments such as climate, topography, vegetation, and water environment, students will also understand cultural and social characteristics and learn how to describe topography.
 From an overview of Asia as a whole, lectures will be given on the topography of each region and individual country. While utilizing old materials, we also introduce the latest research results and show the current situation of old and new Asia.
In addition, we will guide you to deepen your understanding of "description of topography" by devising ways to understand it yourself from specific data. Regarding the natural history of the target countries of the final report, if possible, we will target countries that we have visited and describe local photos and experiences. We will visit the relevant organizations to obtain specific materials, etc., and summarize the results and reflect them in the interim and final reports.
For mid-term assignments, either (1) marking or individual evaluation/correction, (2) overall review, or (3) display of model answers or excellent reports, etc., will be carried out to indicate the direction for the final report.
 I would like you to keep a close eye on developments throughout Asia on a regular basis, and always be aware of the problems in TV news and newspaper articles. Also, I would like you to focus on reviewing, especially after taking lectures.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
 Comprehensive evaluation of interim report (40%) and final report (60%).
