Outline (in English)
This course will provide students with basic concepts of psychological statistics and statistical computing methods. Topics covered include descriptive measures, measures of relationship, statistical inference, and hypothesis testing. The primary purpose of the course is to help students become familiar with basic concepts of psychological statistics and data analysis using R.
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the statistical methods used in psychology, to be able to select appropriate data analysis methods according to research hypotheses, and to practice psychometric statistical methods in practice.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Mid-term examinations (50%), term-end examination (50%), and in-class contribution.

統計解析用ソフトウェアのR言語を使い、心理学統計法について、特に心理学で用いられる記述統計と推測統計を中心に実践的技術を習得します。
到達目標Goal
心理学で用いられる統計学的方法を理解し、研究仮説に応じて適切なデータ解析法を選択でき、心理学統計法を実践的に実行できることを目標とします。

はじめてR言語を使用する人が多いと思いますので、最初に説明します。なお、情報実習室で利用するパソコンはWindowsパソコンです。
受講生が積極的に授業へ参加できるよう工夫したいと思います。

情報実習室での授業のため、備え付けの機材を使用します。
主に学習支援システムを用いて資料を配付しますので、読み取りができるよう準備をしておいて下さい。
