Outline (in English)

In this lecture, we aim to recognize the role of psychologists at child welfare facilities etc. To that end, we will try to understand the ideals and systems of social welfare. On the premise of that understanding, psychosocial tasks at the welfare site and how to support it are suppressed. Especially at the welfare workplace, while trying to solve psychosocial problems while collaborating with other professionals, I want to understand the role of psychologists there. In classes, I would like to focus mainly on children among social welfare.

Goal

・Understand the principles and systems of social welfare.
・ Understand what are the psychosocial issues in welfare settings, especially in child welfare facilities, and the current situation.
・ Understand the psychological issues and support of the users who enter, mainly the abused children.
• Understand the importance of working with other professions.
・ Understand the role of psychologists in the facility based on the above understanding.

Work to be done outside of class

At the end of the class, we will present the documents that we would like you to read in advance, so students should read them and participate in the class. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
