Outline (in English)

【Course outline】This course guides students to complete their graduation work by collecting and analyzing research data on their topics of interest. Students will learn defining the problems and research methods through examining prior research data.
【Learning Objectives】The aim of this course is to help students clarify their research themes and problem consciousness, and to propose solutions to them. Students will learn how to write academic texts and polish their writing skills by learning how to conduct research and analysis, and by constructing their own texts.
【Learning activities outside the classroom】
In this class, thesis guidance will be provided in conjunction with individual guidance and specialized seminar III. In this class, students learn how to organize previous research, conduct survey research methods (fieldwork, interviews and questionnaires in the field, and participant observation by participating in activities), and so on, in order to complete their graduation thesis. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria/Policies】
Students will be graded based on the content and submission of their graduation thesis (80%) and their efforts in their graduation research (20%).
