Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
You will learn the findings and methods of psychological research, which uses experiments and questionnaire surveys to understand the mechanisms of the development and maintenance of psychological disorders and psychological problems.
In this course, students conduct research on topics of their own interest to complete their graduation thesis. The seminar time will be a place for students to share and discuss the content of their work.

[Learning Objectives]
1) Be able to acquire the ability to conduct research using the findings and methods of empirical research in psychology.
2) Acquire the ability to apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes acquired thus far in a comprehensive manner to a research problem of their own making and communicate them through oral and written expression.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
You will need to take the initiative and carry out research. Therefore, a lot of time will be required for study outside of class hours.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

[Grading Criteria /Policies]
Students will be evaluated comprehensively as follows: in-class contribution(50%), presentation content(50%).
