Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
The principles of social welfare development and the criticisms directed at and challenges faced by current welfare policy will be examined.

[Learning Objectives]
To understand the principles of social welfare development and the various issues surrounding welfare policy, and to deepen one's knowledge and personal views on the state of social welfare.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 30 minutes each. References will be introduced in the lecture as appropriate. Relevant references will also be introduced in the lecture, so please refer to them as appropriate.

[Grading Criteria /Policy]
(1) Evaluation method: Reaction paper at each class (30%), final report (70%)

  -- the level of understanding of the content of each lecture
-- whether the students are able to develop their own views logically and persuasively.
<Final report>
 Students will be asked to write a report on a theme of their own interest.
The following are the specific grading items for final report.
-- the level of understanding of the chosen theme
-- whether the report is based on facts and correct information
-- the persuasiveness of their own views
-- the logical structure of the report
