Outline (in English)
This class is aimed at the automobile (or mobility) industry, which is the core industry of the world and has been rapidly evolving recently, and its notable companies, using Japanese lecture materials and English homework. You can learn CASE strategy (Electric, Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Service) and improve reading and listening skills in English, and discussion skills in Japanese. At the same time, by getting in touch with the latest technologies and services of the automobile industry and the companies, you can deepen knowledge and thinking that will be useful during job seeking and after getting a job at a company or teacher.
Preparatory learning is a Japanese translation (summary) of pre-distributed materials. You should review class presentations and lectures.
Comprehensive evaluation will be made based on each presentation and discussion, fieldwork, homework, and attendance status.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業は、世界の中核産業であり最近の進化が著しい自動車（モビリティ）産業とその注目企業を対象に、日本語での講師による講義資料、英語での宿題を使用し、クルマのCASE戦略（電動車Electric、つながるクルマConnected、自動運転Autonomous、シェアリング・サービスShared & Service）の理解、並びに英語のリーディング、ライティング、リスニング、スピーキングの能力向上をはかります。こうした勉強を通じて、就活の際や社会人・教員になってからも役立つ知見やものの見方を習得することを目指します。
準備学習は、事前配布の英文ニュース記事の日本語要旨や英語動画の書き起こしです。復習は、講義と宿題のレビューです。
各回講義への出席、講義での発表と質疑、各回の宿題、フィールドワークなどにより総合的に評価します。

読む力：英語のビジネス文書を正しく理解し、要点を日本文で整理することを目指します。
聞く力：英語のニュース動画を大まかに把握し、要点を日本文で整理する力を身につけます。
書く力：英語のビジネス文書を簡潔かつ合理的に書くことを目指します。
話す力：日本語で初級のビジネス議論ができるスキルを身につけます。
Reading ability: We aim to understand business English correctly and summarize the points in Japanese.
Listening ability: Acquire the ability to roughly grasp the explanation of English videos and summarize the points in Japanese.
Writing ability: We aim to write business documents concisely and rationally.
Speaking ability: Students will acquire the skills to have introductory level business discussions in Japanese according to their wishes.

授業は、教師による日本語での講義を実施した上で、学生による宿題の発表（資料・ビデオの要点の和訳、英語での議論など）を行います。
資料・ビデオはAutomotive News 、Wall Street Journalなどから、参考資料は講師執筆のレポート、専門研究者の発表論文、マークラインズ社データベース、日経クロステックなどから引用します。
第一回講義で、授業の進め方と方法についてオリエンテーションを行いますので、受講希望者は出席してください。
In the class, students will present the abstract (in Japanese translation of the main points of the materials and videos) and the teacher will give a lecture in Japanese, and then the content will be discussed (According to the student's wishes, discussions and presentations in English are also possible).
Materials and videos are quoted from The Japan Times, Nikkei Asian Review, Automotive News, etc., and reference materials are quoted from Nikkei Newspaper, Nikkei XTech, Business Insider, reports written by lecturers, etc.
In the first lecture, you will be given an orientation on the class, so please be sure to attend if you wish to take it.

担当教師はトヨタ自動車Toyota Motor Corp.（海外営業部門）ならびに子会社の経済研究所Instituted for International Economic Studies（Global経営、Innovation戦略、自動車産業のCASEやIoTなどの分析）での勤務経験を有します。現在は自社での調査研究を中心に、医療システム系企業Visca corp.の相談役、産官学団体Robot Revolution & Industrial IoT Initiativeのコアメンバー、自動車問題研究会の幹事などを兼務してますので、自らの経験や知見を活かした授業を心がけます。
