Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course aims to train doctoral students who are well versed in practice. Therefore, the course will focus on practical research as an exercise. However, if the student is already capable of advanced practice, or if the theoretical aspect of the course needs to be enhanced, the student will work on either practical or theoretical research. Under the guidance of the chief and sub-chief examiner and sub-supervisors, students work on a freely selected project for a certain period and receive group guidance and evaluation from multiple faculty members on the project results. This program aims to help students develop their careers and practice exercises that will form the basis or part of their doctoral dissertations.
【Learning Objectives】
The class aims to work on and accomplish tasks that will help career development and serve as the basis or part of a doctoral dissertation.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The class starts in the fall semester of the first or second year in the Doctor's Degree Program. However, depending on the content of the assignment, students may be necessary to efforts regarding issues for an extended period. Therefore, it is necessary to consult with the supervising professor and begin the assignment before starting the course period. The standard time for preparation and review for each class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The evaluation of this class depends on the ability to solve and manage a diversity of practical issues (70 %) and the ability to disseminate and return research results to society (30 %).
