Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
While introducing research in the field of psychosomatic science in the field of sports and health, you will learn the basic techniques of how to read and write academic treatises. Deepen your understanding of the theory and methods of quantitative and qualitative research through experiential learning and reading literature.
【Learning Objectives】
To learn the viewpoint of research in the field of psychosomatic science and to develop the ability to read and understand the literature in the field. Acquire the basic skills required to write a master's thesis.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each. The specific details of our efforts are as follows.
1. It is advisable to be in touch with the latest topics related to your research theme.
2. If you have any specified documents, please read them carefully in advance.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Evaluation is made for each instructor in charge of the first half and the second half, and the average score is used as the evaluation score. In the first half (the part in charge of Nakazawa), the resume, reaction paper, and participation status in the lesson submitted at the time of each lesson are scored and averaged to be the evaluation score for the first half.
In the second half (the part in charge of Shimamoto), we will comprehensively evaluate and score based on the status of participation in classes, reaction papers, submission status of each assignment, etc.
