Outline (in English)

Theme: "Cultural landscape" and ecotourism
Based on the concept of "cultural landscape", we link the viewpoints of eco-tourism, tourism culture, eco-museum and other aspects of Japanese-style ecotourism, tourism culture, and the possibility of human formation utilizing local natural and cultural assets, Conduct case studies through field surveys of their own. Regarding field to be selected in the field survey (field is decided according to their interests and voluntarily planned, including necessarily hearing survey), there are also methods of theme setting not limited to one specific place.

Goal
・ Understand the contents of "Environmental Representation Theory I and II" through the experience of voluntary field surveys.
・ From the experiences of the Okinawa remote island seminar camp in the previous year and the talks of various fields such as research presentations of other seminar students, you will be able to find a connection with your own local experience and "share" your research results.

Work to be done outside of class
Extracurricular learning is equivalent to collecting preliminary knowledge and local information in preparation for a field survey of individual research. The standard time for preparation and review is 2 hours each. Useful information exchange between seminar students outside the class (classroom). We also encourage voluntary visits in the vicinity. Third and fourth graders are required to provide guidance to second graders who are new participants as seniors.

Presentation content and year-end dissertation 65%, participation attitude and cooperation / contribution within the organization such as seminars 35%
