Outline (in English)
This course is designed to help students acquire extensive knowledge of histology, anatomy, and physiology by learning the morphology and mechanisms of the human body and applying the foundation of high school-level biology.
This course provides students with the knowledge required to comprehend the mechanisms and function of their own bodies and to enhance their health.
Learning Objectives
Students will acquire a broad knowledge of histology and physiology necessary to understand the structure and mechanisms of their own bodies and to nurture good health.
The ultimate goal is to maintain and improve health and prevent diseases, which are important for students to live in the future.
Learning activities outside of classroom
Be curious about and observe your own body on a daily basis.
Collect knowledge on related topics. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Policy
Evaluation will be based on the report to be submitted at the end of the semester (100%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義では，学生は高校の生物学の知識を基本として、主として人間の身体の構造と生体のメカニズムを学ぶことにより、組織学、解剖学、生理学の範囲の幅広い知識を身につけることを目的としている。
到達目標Goal
学生は、自分自身の身体の構造、仕組みを理解し、健康をはぐくむうえで必要となる組織学、生理学などの幅広い知識を習得する。
学生がこれから生きていく上で重要な健康の保持増進、疾病の予防を最終目標とする。

細胞、血液、筋・骨格系、呼吸器、循環器、消化器など、身体の構造別にそれらの構造、機能、さらには病気などについても学んでいく。
講義のテーマにそったビデオを鑑賞することにより、より深く知識を定着させる。
対面講義とオンデマンド講義により授業を行う。
