Outline (in English)

We now turn to more detail on how policies are actually made. The course will look at how policy agenda is set and how policy issues are constructed and framed. It will also explore how we can evaluate public policy. Important themes will include the role of ideas, institutions and interests in the policy-making process. The course will employ a number of case studies to give life to the theories and concepts explored.

Students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content before/after each class meeting.
Students will be Assessed by;
Course presentation 30%, Short Essay50%, Class contribution 20%
