Outline (in English)

The course introduces an overview of the standpoints and methodologies of gender history so that students can develop the ability to examine issues of gender cross-culturally and inter-racially.

By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to: 1) acquire a basic understanding of the perspectives and methodologies of gender history and 2) use the perspectives and methodologies of gender history to their own research.

Students will be expected to read assigned materials and upload one-page summary of the assigned text and the points of to Google Classroom before class begins. Presenters of assigned materials should prepare presentations in PowerPoint format.

The final grade will be decided by contribution to class discussion (30%) and presentation (70%).
