Outline (in English)

●Course outline
We consider artistic texts not only as a place for experiencing aesthetic pleasures but also as a device of social criticism, and discuss the polysemy and multiplicity of their expressions and representations.

●Learning Objectives
The aim is to acquire the ability to logically develop discussions and presentations by repeatedly watching movie works and using them to formulate one's own views and thoughts.

●Learning activities outside of classroom
After each class meeting, you will be expected to submit a reaction paper that summarizes your own views on the video materials you watched by the next week.It takes about 1 hour to create the reaction paper.

●Grading Criteria/ Policy
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Usual performance score(50%) and short reports(50%). To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
