Outline (in English)

The course introduces basic historiographical issues in the discipline of history. Students are expected to develop the ability to apply historical methods of inquiry to the analysis of their Master's theses/Research papers.

By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to: 1) understand the methodological developments in the discipline of modern history and 2) write research papers based on historical methodology using primary sources.

Students will be expected to read assigned materials and upload one-page summary of the assigned text and the points of interest to Google Classroom before class begins. Presenters of assigned materials should prepare presentations in PowerPoint format.

The final grade is determined by presentations (70%) and assignments (30%).
