Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this class, students will learn the basic concept of intercultural study on theory and examples. For that purpose, we will take European painting, an interculturally generated cultural activity, as an example. Students will understand the fact that the cultures have something in common with each other, and that the differences make them stand out, and that the cultures have an intercultural relationship while recognizing the commonalities and differences.
【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the fact that the cultures have something in common with each other, and that the differences make them stand out, and that the cultures have an intercultural relationship while recognizing the commonalities and differences.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Final grade will be calculated according to presentation(50%) and final report(50%).
