Outline (in English)

You are to complete your academically valuable, high-level master’s thesis regarding career studies by receiving research guidance for writing it.
In Seminar on Career StudiesⅠ, you are expected to acquire skills to write your thesis including how to review previous studies, design its framework and hypotheses/research questions, and plan surveys, all of which serve as the bases of your thesis writing process.
【Learning Objectives)】
A series of knowledge and techniques required for writing a master's thesis: clarification of problem awareness and theme setting, review of previous research related to the theme, acquisition of research methods and surveys that match the theme, analysis and interpretation of data. Acquire how to develop a logical essay, etc.
Career Design Exercise I focuses on clarifying problem awareness and setting themes, reviewing previous research related to the theme, examining research methods that match the theme, and conducting surveys so that high-quality dissertations can be created. The goal is to become.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Basic activities up to the completion of the master's thesis, such as reading basic literature and related literature, collecting and analyzing data, and writing, are required to be carried out independently outside the class.
In order to make effective use of the exercise time, it is necessary not only to proceed with the process for writing a dissertation in sequence outside the class, but also to explicitly inform the instructor in advance of the points for which guidance is sought on the day of the exercise. 【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Independent and active participation, report content, and dissertation content are comprehensively evaluated.
It is important for the master's thesis to work independently based on individual awareness of the problem, and the reports and discussions of graduate students are the basic requirements.
For the master's thesis, the certainty of the theoretical framework of the research based on the previous research, the clarity of the problem awareness based on the recognition of the current situation, the firmness and validity of the empirical analysis, the development of logical statements, the importance and novelty of the theme. Gender etc. are evaluated.
