Outline (in English)

This class clarifies the concept of social change by nonprofit. Although collaboration is a popular topic in the academic world, the parties involved in the collaborations are mainly between NPOs and companies or between NPOs and governments. This class focuses on collaborative activities in the third sector organizations such as NPOs, cooperatives, and labor unions in the US and Japan. By taking this class, students understand the realities, significance, social role, and effects of the third sector collaboration.
