Outline (in English)

Many World Heritage Sites are influenced directly by reflecting various contemporary problems such as environmental problems, poverty problems, and religious problems etc. In this seminar, we will study about World heritage Sites and various problems related to them according to each student's interest.
<Course outline>
The aim of this course is to help students to acquire understanding real significance and value of the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
<Learning objectives>
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:

1.Recognize the problems that the world faces, and develop the ability to express one's own opinions and develop discussions about them.

2.Acquire knowledge of World Heritage Site Level 2 or higher.

3. Through World Heritage Sites, we will become a habit of acting toward sustainable futures.

<Learning activities>
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
<Grading Criteria/Policy>
Grading will be decided based on lab reports (40%), and the quality of the students' experimental performance in the lab (60%).
