Outline (in English)

This course aims at enabling students to acquire a broad range of perspectives about intercultural communication. By the end of this course, students will develop a deeper and critical understanding of intercultural communication through a series of lectures. The theme of this course is for this year -- Focus on Japan in the world -- engaged in aspects of different cultural ideas, current issues and communication "from the eyes of The Japanese".
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following;
Short reports : 60 %、term-end reports 40%
