Outline (in English)
Corse outline:
This class aims at cultivating students` theoretical knowledge necessary for engaging in the practice of education through introducing the method of education from three viewpoints: "learning", "teacher", and "class." It is hoped that through this class students will learn basic concepts, ways of thinking, as well as methods and techniques to design a class.
Learning objectives:
Students are able to understand basic concepts, ideas and application regarding education methods and techniques, information communication technology (ICT) and teaching materials, and students are further able to design lesson plans effectively for competency building.
Learning activities outside of classroom:
Students are required to carefully review resumes and references. In addition, depending on the content of each lecture, reading and investigating information on particular topics may be assigned as homework. The preparation and review time for this class is about 4 hours every week.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業では、教育の方法を「学び」、「教師」、「授業」の三つの観点から理解することを通して、教育の実践に携わるために必要な理論的知見を養う。また、教育の方法及び技術についての基礎的な概念、考え方や活用法を学ぶとともに、それらの知識・技能をもとに資質・能力を育成するための単元指導計画を作成する。
到達目標Goal
資質・能力の育成をめざして、教育の方法及び技術、情報機器及び教材の活用に関する基礎的な知識・技能を身に付けるとともに、単元指導計画を効果的に作成することができる。

本授業は、講義とともに主にグループディスカッションを行われる。事例は、VTRなども利用しできるだけ具体的に紹介することを心がける。また、毎回の授業の際には、コメントペーパーの提出を求める。また、振り返りのフィードバックは、毎回授業の始めの時間で行う。

振り返り
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
各回の内容は、前時までの内容を前提としていることが多い。このため、レジュメを見直し、参考文献にこまめに当たるなど、復習をきちんと行うことが求められる。また、授業の内容により、文献の読みや資料の調査などが宿題として出される。本授業の準備・復習時間は、各４時間を標準とする。
