Outline (in English)
This course introduces the fundamentals of academic research to students taking this course.
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- To learn the basics of American Psychological Association citation style, academic writing, and academic research,
- To be able to use keyword searches to find previous research,
- To be able to use Excel to create visually understandable charts and graphs from numerical data,
- To be able to interpret what can be read from those figures and tables and explain them to others,
- To understand how to write a series of papers: problem, purpose, method, results, and discussion.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class. Grading will be decided based on reports (50%) and in-class contributions (50%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
生涯発達心理学や教育心理学の観点から「問い」を探求する。アカデミックライティング，心理学に基づいた引用表記および研究方法の基礎について学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
・アメリカ心理学会（American Psychological Association）引用スタイル、アカデミックライティング、学術研究の基礎を身につける。
・キーワード検索を用いて、先行研究を探すことができる。
・Excelを使って数値データから視覚的に理解しやすい図表を作成できる。
・それらの図表から読み取れることを解釈し、他者に説明できる。
・問題と目的、方法、結果、考察という一連の論文の書き方を理解する。

課題等の提出・フィードバックは「hoppii」を通じて行う予定である。
演習および授業内での発表。
■３年次
・数グループに分かれて、調査を行う対象者を決定。
・その対象者には現在、どのような問題が起こっているのか先行研究を探す。
・グループごとに、その対象者にアンケートやインタビューを行い、分析。
・グループごとに最終レポートを作成。
■４年次
・各自テーマを深めて卒論に取り組む。
・自分でデータを収集することが必須である。必要に応じて統計分析の仕方も教える。

平常点50％、課題50％にて評価。

昨年度の評価をもとにして、４月の最初の授業で改めて意見を聞く。
学生が準備すべき機器他Equipment student needs to prepare
情報実習室を利用する回がある。
