Outline (in English)
【授業の概要（Course outline）】
In this course, focusing on cases of multicultural education in Japan, trends and issues related to multicultural symbiosis are explored. Also, with the theme of multicultural symbiosis, research reports are written by conducted by conducting case studies. Through these learning activities, how to actualize multicultural coexistence is discussed and explored.
【到達目標 / Goal】
Students are able to deepen knowledge of concepts, trends and issues related to multicultural symbiosis and education.
Students are able to conduct research on themes of multicultural issues and write an effective report.
【授業時間外の学習（Learning activities outside of classroom）】
Students will be expected to read the text, conduct research and study, reflect on their learning, prepare materials on the subject, and prepare a presentation.
【成績評価の方法と基準（Grading Criteria/Policy）】
Grading will be decided based on in class contribution (30%) and assignments and presentations (70%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業では、多文化社会をめぐる諸課題に焦点をあて、多文化共生と教育に関する調査研究を進めることを通して、多文化共生のあり方を追究したい。具体的には、多文化共生をテーマに事例研究を遂行することを通して、基本的な研究の考え方や進め方について学ぶとともに、自分の設定したテーマを追究して、研究レポートにまとめる。

・多文化共生と教育に関する概念、動向や課題などについての知識を深めることができる。
・興味あるテーマについて調査研究を進め、効果的に研究レポートを書くことができる。

対面で授業を実施し、授業支援システムを活用する。調査研究の進め方や研究レポートの書き方について、具体的な事例を検討しながら学ぶ。また、個人の興味・関心に従い問いを立て、調査研究を進めて研究レポートを作成し発表を行う。課題は、授業のなかでフィードバックを行う。

成果と課題の検討
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
授業の準備として、文献などを読み、課題をやってくる。また、興味・関心に従って調査研究を進め、研究レポートを作成し、プレゼンの準備をする。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とします。
