Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
In this course, students will learn the background of global business unfolding all over the world in the rapidly and dynamically transforming business environment. Only memorizing individual business management methods for global business is not required.
(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students are expected (A) to acquire abilities to grasp the current state of the market and society from a broad perspective, and (B) to obtain important viewpoint as the internationally minded person by learning basic business management theories and methods as well as history and present conditions of the globalization and complicated factors forming an international business.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Students will be expected to prepare for short essays which should be submitted total 5 times in the course. Your study time will be about four hours for each class meeting.
(Grading Policies)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Term-end report: 40%, Short essays: 30%, in class contribution: 30%
