Outline (in English)

In this class the students are to learn "not to think about education only within school and family" and to master basic understandings of relevant knowledge and concepts, in order to be confident of career design. The goal is to grasp social realities/parts deeply based on quantitative and qualitative data and to have your own social vision. Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text and answer some questions of "preparation resume." Your total study time will be four hours for a class. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: mid-term paper 30% and final term paper 70%.
