Outline (in English)

(Course outline): As an introduction to Library Information Science, students will learn foundations and basic concepts of libraries from the viewpoint of lifelong learning.

(Learning Objectives): Students will learn the basic concepts of library and information science and gain comprehensive knowledge of basic knowledge and concepts about libraries.

(Learning activities outside of classroom): Students should read the relevant pages of the textbook in advance. In addition, students should download the class learning materials in advance and fill in the blanks. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

(Grading Criteria /Policy): Comprehensive evaluation will be made based on each confirmation questionnaire quiz (40%), library guidance report (20%), and written exam (40%).
