Outline (in English)

COURSE OUTLINE: The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the basic knowledge on educational counseling and organizational approach.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Acquiring an understanding of the significance of educational consultation in schools and the knowledge necessary to proceed with school counseling.
2. Cultivating basic attitudes as a teacher based on understanding psychosocial developmental tasks of today's pupils and students.
3. Learning to work with students with developmental disorders as well as special need education, and work in collaboration with medical and social welfare staff.

LEARNING ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF CLASSROOM: Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meetings. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

GRADING CRITERIA/POLICY: Grading will be decided based on mid-term paper(30%), term paper(30%), and usual performance score(40%).
