Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This class aims to gain basic understanding of the history of social studies and civic education, the goals and contents in the National Courses of Study, and teaching materials research and learning methods. Also, based on this knowledge and skills, the class further discusses how to develop lesson plans and actually design them.
(Learning Objectives)
As a teacher, understand the meaning and role of social and civil studies, develop the ability to analyze modern society, develop the issues of modern society as teaching materials from various perspectives, and provide practical guidance that can flexibly respond to diverse students. Acquire power.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
The method of preparation and review will be instructed at the time of class. In particular, be sure to prepare for the relevant parts of the distributed prints, textbooks, and junior high and high school "Course of Study" related to the lessons.
According to the lesson theme of your choice, make use of the summer vacation to create a lesson plan and submit it at the first class of the fall semester. * This is mandatory.
Always read the newspaper in case of current affairs that are addressed in each class.
The preparation and review time for this class is based on 2 hours each, for a total of 4 hours.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
The evaluation will be made based on the attitude of participation in the lesson (10%), the impressions / reports / learning guidance plan (30%) at the time of the lesson, and the two exams (60%). It may change depending on the class format.
